Individual Therapy for Adults

Therapy sessions are offered to individuals ages 18+ through either in-office or telehealth. These are 50 minute sessions. Sessions typically involve open conversations about your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and life experiences.

Which therapy setting is best for me?

  • Choosing a therapist with an easily accessible office can make attending sessions more manageable and help you stay consistent. My office is conveniently located right off major freeways with ample free parking, providing quick and easy access. It also offers a neutral, private space away from your everyday environment-a quiet setting where you can focus on processing your thoughts and emotions without distractions.

  • Telehealth therapy is offered through my client portal and creates an unmatched level of convenience as you can attend sessions while located anywhere in California. Some clients find that being in their own space can help them feel more relaxed and reduce stressors including commuting/additional time spent getting to sessions. Telehealth therapy is a versatile option that offers flexibility and access while maintaining the same professional standards as in-person sessions.

  • What is Telehealth?

-Telehealth involves using technology to conduct therapy sessions remotely, providing a virtual platform for individuals to connect with their therapist.

What do I need for telehealth?

-Ensure you have a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly. A reliable internet connection and a device such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone are essential.

Can I do telehealth sessions outside of California?

-As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California, I am able to provide therapy services to individuals residing in California. If you live outside of California, I recommend finding a licensed therapist in your state to ensure you receive appropriate care that aligns with your local regulations.

    Is Telehealth secure and confidential?

Yes, telehealth platforms use encrypted channels to ensure the confidentiality and security of your therapy sessions. It will be your responsibility to ensure you are in a private and confidential space on your end for each session.

    Is my Telehealth session recorded?

Telehealth sessions will not be recorded. Your privacy and confidentiality are a top priority.

What if I have concerns about the quality of Telehealth care?

I value your feedback and am committed to ensuring a positive therapy experience! If you have concerns at any point in therapy, you are welcome to communicate these with me.

Rates and Payment Options

The following payment forms are accepted:

All major credit, debit, FSA, and HSA cards.

I am an out-of-network provider, meaning clients will pay for services directly at the private pay rate, and you may be eligible for reimbursement depending on your insurance plan. All payments will be made at the time of service through a secure online client payment portal. PPO insurance plans can offer out-of-network benefits that may provide reimbursement for your sessions. I'm happy to provide you with a Superbill upon request, which includes all of the necessary information for submission to your insurance company.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You will receive a Good Faith Estimate prior to your first appointment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Specialties

  • Anxiety can magnify self-doubt, heighten self-blame, and impact your confidence, relationships, and overall quality of life. If it’s interfering with your daily life, you don’t have to navigate it alone-building self-advocacy through seeking professional support can be the first step in regaining clarity and control.

  • Whether you’re transitioning from college to the workforce, moving to a new city, becoming a parent, ending a relationship, or transitioning into retirement (among other life transitions), I offer a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions. Together, we can identify your strengths, develop coping strategies, and create a path forward that aligns with your values and goals. You don’t have to face these challenges alone-I’m here to help you find balance and confidence during times of change.

  • Grief can leave you feeling isolated, even when others offer kind words like, “Let me know if you need anything.” Losing someone close to you or receiving a life-changing diagnosis is an experience many people struggle to fully understand or support. Grief is deeply personal-it can bring feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, fear, or even relief. All of these emotions are normal, yet the grieving process often feels more overwhelming and confusing than expected.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as a whole person-not just as someone coping with loss. Here, your emotions are validated and welcomed, free of judgment. Together, we’ll explore your unique experience, allowing you to share the good, the bad, and the difficult truths. Processing your grief in a compassionate space can help you move forward with clarity and reduce the burden it might create in your daily life over time. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone-let’s take the first step together.

  • Perfectionism often stems from a desire to avoid failure, gain approval, or maintain control, but it can lead to self-criticism, anxiety, and burnout. It can also create a cycle where even accomplishments feel insufficient and self-worth becomes tied to unrealistic standards.

As a therapist, I can help you understand how perfectionism develops and how it impacts your life. Together, we can identify patterns that keep you stuck, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and build healthier ways to approach your goals. Through self-compassion and practical tools, I can support you in breaking free from the cycle of perfectionism and embracing a more balanced, fulfilling life.

  • Attachment wounds can make it hard to build healthy relationships or walk away form unhealthy ones. Trusting others might feel risky, leading you to put up walls to protect yourself from getting hurt.

Working through this alone can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to. Therapy can help you process past wounds, heal, and build the secure, supportive relationships you deserve.

  • If you struggle with people-pleasing, you probably say “yes” when you want to say “no,” prioritize others over yourself, and feel guilty for setting even the smallest boundary. You might fear disappointing people or worry that standing up for yourself will push them away. Over time, this can leave you drained, resentful, and unsure of where you end and others begin.

Setting boundaries isn’t about being harsh or selfish-it’s about protecting your energy, valuing your needs, and building healthier relationships. If you’re stuck in the cycle of overgiving and self-sacrificing, therapy can help you break free. Together, we’ll work on recognizing your worth, setting boundaries with confidence, and finding balance between caring for others and taking care of yourself. You deserve relationships that respect and support you-without having to constantly prove your value.
