Meet Jessica

San Diego Therapist

My commitments as your therapist:

Are you constantly striving for perfection, putting others’ needs before your own, and feeling like you’re never quite enough? If so, you’re not alone. I specialize in helping overachievers, perfectionists, and people pleasers break free from these patterns—often rooted in childhood experiences where emotional needs weren’t fully supported. Together, we’ll unpack the past, build healthy coping strategies, and create a life of balance, self-compassion, and purpose—without the weight of burnout or emotional exhaustion.

I’m passionate about normalizing these struggles and take an individualized approach to therapy, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone. Having walked my own path of growth, I understand how important it is to have a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship—one that fosters openness, vulnerability, and real connection. In our work together, I bring a balance of compassion and gentle challenge, helping you navigate deep emotions while also embracing the humor and lightness in life—when appropriate, of course. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and validated, making it easier to process past experiences and move forward with confidence.

Since research shows that the therapeutic relationship is the strongest predictor of positive outcomes, I take the time to deeply understand your experiences and perspective so we can create a path forward together. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and my approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and tailored to what works best for you.

  • I take a non-judgmental, down-to-earth approach to therapy. Finding the right therapist can be challenging but important as research shows that the relationship between therapist and client is the strongest predictor of positive outcomes. Since therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, I take the time to understand your experiences and perspective so we can work together to find an individualized approach.

About Me

On a personal note

Outside of the therapy office, I deeply value quality time with my family and friends. I start my mornings with a walk outside with my dog, soaking up the fresh air and sunshine to set a positive tone for the day. Spending time in nature, exploring new places, and unplugging helps me feel grounded. I also make it a priority to practice gratitude during my morning walk, creating space for mindfulness before the busyness of the day begins.

Some of my favorite ways to recharge include nature walks, planning my next travel adventure, diving into a great book for book club, and hunting for the best iced vanilla latte. And when I’m in the mood for a little downtime, you’ll find me unwinding with reality TV (Bravo shows are my favorite for this) and good company.
